Job Description

Who you are

You have extensive experience in quality assurance, particularly in manufacturing environments — you understand the importance of embedding quality into every part of the design and production process. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, and you thrive in collaborative settings where you can influence how products are built from the ground up. You are detail-oriented and have a keen eye for identifying potential issues before they arise, ensuring that the final product meets the highest standards. You are comfortable working on the production floor and can effectively communicate with cross-functional teams to drive quality initiatives. Your passion for innovation and excellence aligns with Relativity's mission to pioneer progress in aerospace.

Desirable

Experience in aerospace or similar high-tech industries would be a significant advantage. Familiarity with quality management systems and methodologies such as Six Sigma or ISO standards is also desirable. You are proactive in seeking out opportunities for improvement and are not afraid to challenge the status quo to enhance quality processes.

What you'll do

As a Senior Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in the production of the Terran R rocket. You will work closely with design, manufacturing, and test teams to ensure that quality is prioritized from the very beginning of the production process. Your responsibilities will include conducting inspections, identifying defects, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. You will also be involved in developing and refining quality assurance protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will partner with various teams to influence design decisions and manufacturing processes that enhance product quality. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of quality practices within the organization, making a tangible impact on the success of the Terran R program.
