Flexport is hiring a Staff Network Engineer to design, deploy, and manage their global enterprise network. You'll work with cutting-edge platforms and technologies like AWS and Cisco to enhance network efficiency and reliability. This role requires significant experience in network engineering.
You have extensive experience in network engineering, with a strong background in designing and managing enterprise-level networks. Your expertise includes installing, configuring, and troubleshooting various network hardware such as firewalls, switches, and VPNs. You are familiar with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, and understand how to leverage it for network solutions. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to drive network efficiency and reliability. You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions that support global growth. You have a passion for technology and a commitment to enhancing user experiences in global trade.
Experience with advanced networking technologies and protocols is a plus. Familiarity with network security practices and tools will be beneficial in this role. You may also have experience in managing large-scale network projects and leading teams to achieve strategic objectives.
