Handshake is seeking Biochemists and Biophysicists to contribute to an AI research project. You'll leverage your expertise to evaluate AI models and provide feedback. No prior AI experience is required.
You have at least 4 years of professional experience in biochemistry or biophysics, allowing you to evaluate and train AI models effectively. Your background includes conducting research to understand the physical and chemical principles of living organisms, and you are comfortable using advanced equipment like mass spectrometers and electron microscopes. You possess strong analytical skills and can deliver clear, structured feedback that enhances AI understanding of workplace tasks and language. You are adaptable and can work independently in a remote setting, managing your own schedule with flexibility.
In this role, you will contribute to an hourly, temporary AI research project by evaluating AI models related to your field. You will develop prompts that reflect your expertise and assess the responses generated by the AI. Your insights will help strengthen the model's understanding of biochemistry and biophysics, ensuring it aligns with real-world applications. You will work asynchronously, allowing you to balance this opportunity with other commitments.
