Monzo is seeking a Prudential Regulatory Risk Analyst to join their Prudential Risk Team. You'll work on interpreting regulatory requirements and collaborating with various teams across the bank. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in risk management.
You have a solid understanding of prudential regulatory requirements and experience in risk management — you've worked in a financial institution and are familiar with capital and liquidity resource requirements. You possess strong analytical skills and can interpret complex regulations effectively. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and effective risk oversight. You have excellent communication skills, allowing you to convey regulatory concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. You are detail-oriented and can manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a focus on quality and accuracy. You are proactive in identifying potential risks and challenges, and you enjoy problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing oversight and challenge for regulatory capital and liquidity resource requirements — you will work closely with the first line of defense teams to ensure compliance with prudential regulations. You will interpret regulatory requirements and assist in the preparation of submissions related to these regulations. You will collaborate with various teams across the bank to ensure a cohesive approach to risk management. You will support the development of risk frameworks and policies, ensuring they align with regulatory expectations. You will participate in projects aimed at enhancing the bank's risk management capabilities and contribute to the continuous improvement of risk processes. You will also be involved in regulatory reporting, ensuring that all submissions are accurate and timely. You will stay updated on regulatory changes and assess their impact on the bank's operations. You will engage in training and awareness initiatives to promote a strong risk culture within the organization.
Monzo offers a competitive salary range of £48,500 - £55,000 along with share options and a comprehensive benefits package.
