Netflix is seeking a Mid-Level Product Designer for their EMEA Hardlines team to support product development and create fan-first merchandise. You'll manage creative workflows and collaborate with partners to deliver engaging products.
You have experience in product design and development, ideally within the consumer products sector. You understand the importance of creating merchandise that resonates with fans and enhances their connection to popular shows. Your background includes managing creative workflows and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure product quality and relevance. You are comfortable using online product development tools and guiding partners through the onboarding process. You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to articulate creative visions and provide constructive feedback effectively. You are adaptable and open to travel, as some aspects of the role may require you to engage with partners across Europe.
In this role, you will be the primary creative contact for a group of Hardlines and adjacent partners, overseeing their creative workflow and product approvals. You will support these partners in utilizing online product development tools and provide guidance on asset usage. Your responsibilities will include managing freelancers and outside agencies to develop creative tools, such as mood boards and visual assets. You will also engage in new business development activities, including pitches and research, to identify opportunities for innovative merchandise that aligns with Netflix's brand and audience. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential as you work to deliver best-in-class merchandise that excites fans and promotes Netflix's titles effectively. You will play a key role in ensuring that the merchandise reflects the quality and creativity that Netflix is known for, contributing to the overall success of the Consumer Products team.
