What you'll do

As a GL International Accountant at GetYourGuide, you will play a vital role in the Accounting Team, reporting directly to the General Ledger Lead. Your primary mission will be to maintain top-notch and compliant accounting for the GetYourGuide Group. You will prepare monthly financial reports and contribute to the annual financial statements for various GetYourGuide entities. Your analytical expertise will be crucial as you perform meticulous reconciliations according to month-end-close deadlines and on an ad-hoc basis. You will take ownership of accounting-related projects, such as Business Process Designs and Internal Controls, driving innovation and improvements within the team. Additionally, you will serve as a communication hub, addressing inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding accounting and tax matters. Your collaborative partnerships will be key to ensuring that the accounting function operates smoothly and effectively.
