SeatGeek is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to enhance their payments strategy. You'll utilize SQL and advanced analytics techniques to transform data into actionable insights. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive business impact.

Job Description

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience as a data analyst, focusing on payments or financial data. Your expertise in SQL allows you to manipulate and analyze large datasets effectively, turning raw data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions. You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Risk, to define success metrics and measure the impact of various initiatives. You possess strong analytical skills and a keen eye for identifying trends and opportunities for improvement in payment unit economics.

You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy partnering with product teams to elevate user experiences. Your ability to communicate complex data findings in a clear and actionable manner makes you a valuable asset to any team. You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement and are driven by the desire to make data-informed decisions that enhance business outcomes.

Desirable

Experience in the ticketing or e-commerce industry is a plus, as is familiarity with advanced analytics techniques. Knowledge of reporting frameworks and metrics development will help you excel in this role. You are also comfortable with data visualization tools, which can aid in presenting your findings to stakeholders.

What you'll do

As a Senior Data Analyst at SeatGeek, you will focus on improving the payments strategy by developing reporting frameworks and metrics that help determine incremental revenue from new features. You will coordinate with Product, Engineering, and Analytics Engineering teams to implement and measure the success of new payment methods, such as Account Credit. Your role will involve measuring the impact of adding payment methods on conversion rates and understanding how these changes affect the company's take rate.

You will proactively identify opportunities to enhance the payment experience based on historical trends and data analysis. By evaluating potential partnership opportunities, you will influence business decision-making and drive measurable improvements in the payment unit economics. Your insights will guide the Money Movement product team in making data-driven decisions that enhance the purchasing and payout experience for SeatGeek users.
