Block is seeking an Outsourcing Program Manager to lead and transform their operational outsourcing strategy within the Risk organization. This role requires expertise in vendor management and operational excellence to drive quality and efficiency.
You have a strong background in outsourcing and vendor management, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful operational strategies. Your experience includes designing comprehensive outsourcing strategies that enhance quality, cost efficiency, and operational flexibility. You are skilled in vendor relationship management, serving as the primary point of escalation and conducting performance reviews to ensure alignment with organizational goals. You understand the importance of establishing KPIs to track vendor performance and are adept at promoting cost optimization through strategic negotiations and procurement partnerships.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Your ability to develop staffing augmentation programs demonstrates your strategic thinking and capacity planning capabilities. You are committed to driving operational excellence and scalability within the organization, ensuring that outsourcing initiatives align with the company's objectives.
Experience in the financial services or technology sectors is a plus, as is familiarity with compliance and risk management frameworks. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency.
In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of outsourcing strategies within the Risk organization at Block. You will design comprehensive frameworks that improve operational capabilities and drive cost optimization. Your responsibilities will include creating capacity planning frameworks that align with organizational goals and promoting offshore expansion programs to enhance operational capabilities.
You will manage end-to-end vendor relationships, serving as the primary point of escalation for any issues that arise. Conducting vendor performance reviews will be a key part of your role, as you will track forecasts against actuals to ensure that vendor performance aligns with the company's objectives. Establishing KPIs will be essential to measure success and drive continuous improvement in vendor performance.
Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams across the organization to ensure that outsourcing initiatives are effectively integrated into the overall operational strategy. Your strategic mindset will be crucial in identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements through vendor negotiations and procurement partnerships.
