You are an individual contributor with a strong ability to manage cases related to leave of absence and disability events. You excel in providing holistic case management services, ensuring that employees receive the appropriate benefits and support throughout their leave. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to effectively respond to inquiries and understand the unique situations of each employee. You are detail-oriented and capable of reviewing medical documentation to ensure compliance with federal and state laws as well as Amazon's benefit plans. You thrive in a role where you can be the single point of contact for employees, guiding them through their leave journey with empathy and professionalism.
In this role, you will initiate and respond to inquiries about leave and disability events, acting as a trusted point of contact for assigned employees. You will leverage best practice tools and duration guidelines to provide the best results for your customers. Your responsibilities will include reviewing medical documentation to adjudicate leaves in compliance with the corresponding leave plans and applicable laws. You will work closely with employees to understand their situations and apply the appropriate benefits, ensuring a connected and trusted case management experience. You will also be responsible for adapting to changing circumstances and needs, providing timely and accurate information to employees throughout their leave process.
