Job Description

Overview
We are part of Microsoft’s Azure Specialized Cloud organization, building cutting-edge, carrier-grade platforms for telecom and enterprise customers who want to run their applications at the edge (on-premises). Our team delivers a full end-to-end Azure experience, enabling customers to deploy and operate their infrastructure and workloads from the ground up — from booting bare-metal machines, adding the virtualization layer, to running cloud-native applications. We leverage modern technologies like Kubernetes, Golang, and other cloud-native frameworks to design highly sophisticated, reliable, and scalable solutions. Our platforms empower organizations to seamlessly manage applications across cloud and edge environments, while meeting demanding enterprise and telecom requirements for performance, security, and availability.

Responsibilities
• Work collaboratively with a team of 5-7 software developers using SCRUM.
• Design, Develop and Test backend REST API services using a microservices architecture.
• Design, Develop and Test some front end user experiences using REACT
• Support monitor and troubleshoot owned services in production and participate in on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams across Azure
• Candidate will build on and use Azure cloud technologies that include Cosmos DB, Service Bus, IoT/Event Hubs , Azure Data Explorer , Azure Stream Analytics, Azure SQL and others.


Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in Software Development & designing, developing, deploying, and monitoring cloud services/RESTful service/Distributed system.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with solid C#, Java, C/C++ programming, debugging skills..
  • Great design and problem-solving skills, with a strong bias for architecting for performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Deep understanding of efficient data structures and algorithms.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS or similar cloud computing platforms is preferred.
