Vonage is seeking an Inside Sales Account Executive to drive growth by matching customers with business communications solutions. You'll leverage your SaaS sales experience and utilize Salesforce to track sales activities. This role requires 2+ years of closing experience in a SaaS environment.

Job Description

Who you are

You have 2+ years of Account Executive experience in a SaaS or equivalent environment — you've successfully closed deals and understand the nuances of solution selling. Your direct SaaS/Cloud selling experience has equipped you with the skills to engage effectively with clients and understand their needs.

You are adept at conducting high-level conversations with C-Level and VP-Level Executives — your ability to address business needs and employ solution-selling techniques has led to successful sales outcomes. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with Sales Development teams to establish a healthy pipeline.

Your proficiency in utilizing Salesforce CRM allows you to provide timely and accurate sales activity tracking and status updates — you understand the importance of logging all activities to optimize efficiency. You keep informed of product lines, competition, and industry trends that may impact client business activities, ensuring you are always prepared for client interactions.

Desirable

Experience with unified communications, contact center solutions, and communications APIs is a plus — you are ready to innovate and help businesses enhance their communication strategies. Your problem-solving skills enable you to resolve client issues in a timely and thorough manner, escalating issues to management as appropriate.

What you'll do

In this role, you will drive growth by matching customers with Vonage’s business communications solutions that solve their needs — your key responsibilities will include creating client demos, presentations, quotes, and proposals to ensure a customer-centric experience. You will work strategically with management to deliver forecasts, identify trending opportunities and challenges, and provide recommended solutions.

You will conduct high-level conversations with C-Level and VP-Level Executives, employing solution-selling techniques to effectively guide the sales process to close — your ability to leverage the tech stack will optimize your efficiency in logging all activities. You will collaborate with the Sales Development team to establish a healthy pipeline, ensuring that you are always prepared for client interactions.
