Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.

We want you as a talented EWIS intern to learn and help us in our mission by supporting EMI/EMC, Grounding/Bonding and Plasma Charging analyzes.

This is a unique opportunity to learn from the inside core of the system design and equipment team how to construct an electrical system of a highly complex spacecraft.

You will be successful in this role if you are able to build with us:

  • Learn and support process definition and writing of EMC Test/Qualification Procedures for the avionic units

  • Participate in the EMC test setup definition (loads, harness, electrical bonding, etc.)

  • Provide oversight /witnessing to the EMC testing

  • Analyze test results and identify sources of electromagnetic interference

  • Document test procedures, results, and findings in detailed test reports

  • Support EMC verification (analyses, testing)

  • Learn and Review manufacturing documentation from the EMC perspective (harness drawings, installation drawings, etc.)

What we would love to see from you:

  • Engineering degree in space/electrical field or equivalent (recently graduated or currently in studies)

  • Willingness to contribute to build and support system design

  • Organized and rigorous

  • Hands-on approach

  • Inventive and problem solver

  • Team spirit

  • Good communication skills and fluency in English

  • Adaptive and eager to learn
