SpaceX is seeking a High Pressure Die Casting Machine Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliability and productivity of their Starlink User Terminal manufacturing facility. The role involves performing maintenance and repairs on high pressure die casting machines, utilizing schematics and diagnostic equipment.
You are a skilled maintenance technician with experience in performing planned maintenance and unplanned repairs of production line assets, particularly high pressure die casting machines. You have the ability to read and utilize schematics, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, to troubleshoot issues down to the component level. Your expertise in utilizing diagnostic equipment allows you to monitor equipment performance and diagnose root causes effectively. You are committed to ensuring high productivity and reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing both planned and unplanned maintenance on high pressure die casting machines used in the production of Starlink User Terminals. You will read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently. Your role will involve utilizing diagnostic equipment to monitor performance and identify root causes of any issues that arise. You will work closely with other technicians and engineers to maintain a high level of productivity and reliability in the manufacturing facility, contributing to the overall success of the Starlink project.
