What you'll do

As a Staff Frontend Engineer at Verkada, you will be a founding member of a new team dedicated to developing a collaborative, offline-first visual floor plan editor. Your primary responsibility will be to build a sync engine that enables seamless collaboration among users, ensuring that changes are reflected in real-time. You will implement a visually engaging editor that assists security deployment experts in planning and configuring Verkada's hardware offerings. Collaborating closely with product managers and designers, you will focus on creating exceptional user experiences that go beyond mere functionality. You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall architecture of the frontend application, ensuring that it is maintainable and scalable. Your role will involve staying up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and best practices, allowing you to continuously improve the development process and the product itself.
