Carvana is seeking an Entry-level Cosmetic Inspection Technician to prep vehicles for paint. You'll be involved in tasks such as sanding, masking, and buffing. This role is ideal for candidates with a minimum of 6 months of automotive prepping experience.
You are an entry-level professional with a minimum of 6 months of experience in automotive prepping. You have a keen eye for detail and are eager to learn and grow in the automotive industry. You understand the importance of preparing vehicles for paint, including tasks such as sanding, masking, taping, and buffing. You are comfortable working with state-of-the-art tools in a high-tech environment and are ready to embrace training programs that will enhance your skills and pay as you progress with the company.
While not required, any additional experience in automotive repair or familiarity with paint processes will be beneficial. A valid driver’s license and the ability to communicate effectively in English are essential for this role.
As an Entry-level Cosmetic Inspection Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for prepping vehicles for paint. This includes sanding surfaces to ensure they are smooth and ready for application, masking areas that should not be painted, and taping to secure protective materials. You will also be involved in bagging and unbagging vehicles, as well as performing tear-down tasks when necessary.
