Job Description

Join us in shaping the future of retail!

As a Senior Program Manager in Trade Planning, you'll be at the forefront of driving in-store sales and revolutionizing the retail experience. Your innovative strategies and collaborative approach will directly impact Amazon's Physical Retail success.

As a Sr Program Manager, Trade Planning, you'll develop the tools and processes to:
1) Build store trade plans to drive in-store sales,
2) Partner with marketing, category and operations to implement them in-stores,
3) Create new datasets to help drive insights and implementation.

You will be responsible for removing gaps between ideation and execution and ensuring continuity throughout the development process.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop Store Trade Plans: Craft comprehensive store trade plans designed to boost in-store sales and enhance the customer experience.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with marketing, category management, and operations to seamlessly implement trade plans in stores.
- Drive Data-Informed Decisions: Create and analyze new datasets to gain insights and inform strategic decisions.
- Bridge Ideation and Execution: Identify and eliminate gaps between conceptualization and implementation, ensuring a smooth development process.
- Present to Senior Leadership: Communicate your strategies and results to senior leaders, influencing sales strategies in Amazon's Physical Retail sector.


A day in the life
Imagine starting your day by reviewing the latest sales data and trade plan metrics. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine strategies, ensuring they align with both customer needs and business goals. Your afternoon might involve presenting to senior leaders, discussing the impact of recent initiatives and planning next steps. You'll end your day by analyzing new datasets, looking for insights that could drive future sales growth.

About the team
Our Trade Planning team is dedicated to innovation and excellence in retail. We're passionate about creating a seamless shopping experience for our customers and are always looking for new ways to enhance in-store sales. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work with talented professionals across marketing, category management, and operations. Together, we're committed to pushing the boundaries of what's possible in retail.- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
