You have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, demonstrating your ability to drive results in a competitive environment. You thrive in fast-paced and often ambiguous environments, adapting quickly to changing circumstances while maintaining focus on your goals. Your experience in managing named accounts equips you with the skills to craft comprehensive account plans aimed at winning and expanding business with upper middle market and enterprise companies. You understand the importance of building and sustaining key relationships, ensuring that you orchestrate appropriate executive touchpoints throughout the sales cycle.
Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, and Finance, enables you to conduct complex product workshops and financial analyses that drive strategic decision-making. You are proactive in developing outbound strategies to create and nurture new business opportunities, demonstrating your commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in the sales process.
Experience in the online commerce infrastructure or payments industry would be a plus, as it would enhance your understanding of how to leverage Stripe’s offerings to create competitive advantages for clients. Familiarity with sales processes and methodologies will further support your success in this role.
As a Platforms Account Executive (New Business) at Stripe, you will own the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to closing sales with upper middle market and enterprise clients. You will directly manage and cultivate a named account list, crafting comprehensive account plans that align with client needs and business objectives. Your role will involve building and sustaining key relationships with C-level executives, ensuring that you orchestrate appropriate executive touchpoints to foster collaboration and engagement.
You will contribute to the development of our platform partnership strategy by establishing repeatable processes and scalable engagement models. This will involve collaborating with leaders across various functions to conduct complex product workshops and financial analyses that inform strategic decisions. You will also engage with Product and Engineering teams to shape and drive product strategy, ensuring that client needs are met effectively.
Your responsibilities will include developing outbound strategies to create and nurture new business opportunities, leveraging your sales expertise to identify and capitalize on market trends. You will coordinate and support the implementation of sold platforms, facilitating their effective utilization of Stripe products to maximize client satisfaction and success.
In addition to managing your accounts, you will lead and contribute to team initiatives aimed at refining our sales process, sharing best practices and insights with your colleagues to enhance overall performance. Your ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment will be crucial as you navigate the complexities of the sales landscape.
