Global Atlantic is seeking a Reinsurance Management professional to act as a key contact for internal and external queries related to reinsurance on Life and Annuity products. This role involves managing a small team and coordinating with various internal departments and external partners.
You have a strong background in reinsurance management, with experience in both Life and Annuity products. Your ability to analyze financial impacts and oversee work efforts performed by third-party administrators is essential. You possess excellent people skills, which enable you to manage a small team effectively while coordinating with various internal departments such as product development, sales, and corporate actuarial. Your communication skills allow you to present ongoing program performance to senior management and internal committees clearly and effectively.
Experience working with external reinsurers and third-party reinsurance partners is a plus. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and the ability to adapt to changing business needs will help you succeed in this role. You are proactive in seeking solutions and have a strategic mindset that aligns with the company's goals.
In this role, you will act as a key contact for all reinsurance-related queries, ensuring that both internal and external stakeholders receive timely and accurate information. You will analyze the financial impact of changes in reinsurance coverage and retention, providing insights that will guide strategic management decisions. Your oversight of the work performed by the reinsurance TPA and internal modeling team will be crucial in maintaining program performance. You will also organize and present findings to internal committees and senior management, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned on key initiatives.
