Who you are

You have a strong background in equipment maintenance, particularly in high-stakes manufacturing environments. Your experience includes performing preventative and corrective maintenance on complex automation systems, ensuring optimal performance of critical assets. You are skilled in troubleshooting and resolving issues in control, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components, including PLCs, servomotors, and robotics. You understand the importance of adhering to safety protocols while maintaining operational reliability and efficiency. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with engineering and production teams to interpret schematics and document repairs. Your analytical problem-solving skills enable you to deliver permanent solutions to complex issues.

What you'll do

As an Equipment Maintenance Technician at SpaceX, you will play a vital role in supporting the Starship operations team. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and repair all assets to ensure their proper operating condition. You will provide preventative and corrective maintenance on various complex automation systems, troubleshooting and repairing control and electrical system failures. This includes working with PLCs, HMIs, servomotors, servo amplifiers, and field sensors. You will collaborate with engineering and production teams to interpret schematics and document repairs, applying your analytical skills to deliver effective solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the success of Starship's mission to advance human space exploration.
