Verkada is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business acquisition in the State, Local, and Education (SLED) market in Upstate New York. This role focuses on formulating and executing a sales strategy to achieve new customer acquisition and revenue growth.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the public sector, with experience in driving new business acquisition. Your energy and passion for sales are matched by your ability to engage with clients and understand their needs. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to a growing team. Your experience includes working with municipalities and educational institutions, allowing you to navigate the complexities of the SLED market effectively.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate the value of Verkada's integrated, AI-powered platform to potential clients. You are adept at building relationships and have a strategic mindset that helps you identify opportunities for growth. Your ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams will be key to your success in this role.
Experience in the physical security industry or familiarity with cloud-based solutions would be advantageous. A background in technology sales, particularly in software or hardware solutions, will help you understand the products Verkada offers and how they can benefit clients in the public sector.
As an Enterprise Account Executive at Verkada, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy within your assigned territory in Upstate New York. Your primary focus will be on acquiring new customers in the State, Local, and Education sectors. You will engage with potential clients, understand their security needs, and present Verkada's solutions effectively.
You will work closely with the Public Sector Field Sales team to identify key opportunities and develop tailored approaches for each client. Your role will involve conducting market research to understand the competitive landscape and leveraging this information to position Verkada as a leader in cloud physical security.
You will also be responsible for managing the sales pipeline, from initial contact through to closing deals. This includes preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new clients.
