Databricks is hiring a Solutions Engineer (Pre-sales) to leverage technical expertise in promoting their Data Intelligence Platform. You'll work collaboratively with customers to create customized solutions that address complex data challenges. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills.
You have a strong technical background and a customer-centric mindset, which allows you to effectively communicate complex solutions to clients. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with teams to develop innovative solutions that meet customer needs. Your experience in pre-sales or technical sales roles has equipped you with the skills to engage with clients and understand their unique challenges. You are eager to learn and grow into a Senior Solutions Engineer, developing both your technical and pre-sales skills along the way.
Experience with data science and analytics platforms is a plus, as is familiarity with cloud technologies. You are comfortable presenting technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, and you have a knack for simplifying complex ideas. A background in software engineering or data engineering would be beneficial, as it will help you understand the technical aspects of the solutions you will be promoting.
In this role, you will work closely with a Senior Solutions Architect and a collaborative team to promote Databricks solutions to the technical community. You will participate in workshops, events, and partnerships to showcase the capabilities of the Data Intelligence Platform. Your hands-on experience will involve working on technical projects that address customer needs, allowing you to deliver tailored solutions that solve their data challenges. You will gain insights into the data lifecycle, from ingestion to insight creation and prediction, which will enhance your ability to guide customers effectively.
You will also be responsible for developing and delivering presentations that highlight the value of Databricks solutions. Engaging with customers to understand their requirements and providing them with actionable insights will be a key part of your role. As you grow into your position, you will take on more responsibilities, including leading customer engagements and driving the technical aspects of the sales process.
