What you'll do

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain backend services that support ancestry services at 23andMe. You will work on building scalable APIs that serve both internal and external customers, ensuring they are performant and secure. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with data scientists and researchers to implement machine learning models that enhance our services. You will also be involved in code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to architectural decisions that shape the future of our systems.

You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and monitoring.
