Amazon is seeking a PR Manager for International Stores & Corporate Communications to develop and execute public campaigns that communicate Amazon's policy positions in India. This role requires strong media relations skills and the ability to translate complex economic topics into engaging communications.
You are a strategic and creative communicator with a strong background in media relations and a deep understanding of how communications influence the economic policy landscape. You excel at building relationships with opinion leaders and stakeholders, ensuring that your messaging resonates with diverse audiences. Your experience includes developing communications strategies that align with organizational goals and effectively convey complex topics in an accessible manner. You are adept at managing PR agency resources and providing counsel to senior leaders, ensuring that Amazon's voice is represented accurately and effectively in the media.
In this role, you will work closely with the India PR team to roll out public campaigns that highlight Amazon's policy positions, particularly in the context of economic regulation. You will develop compelling communications assets, including speaking points, blog posts, opinion pieces, and video scripts, that articulate the positive impacts of Amazon's business on customers and sellers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve translating intricate economic policy issues into clear and engaging narratives that resonate with both media stakeholders and the public. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders, including trade associations and civil society groups, to enhance Amazon's reputation and influence in the retail sector.
