You have a strong background in Azure Data Platforms and have spent several years leading teams in operational delivery and governance. Your expertise in DataOps processes allows you to manage L1/L2/L3 operations effectively, ensuring that service level agreements are met and exceeded. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with Data Engineering, Cloud, and Business teams to drive proactive monitoring and continuous improvement across customer environments.

Your leadership skills are complemented by a hands-on approach to technology, allowing you to guide your team while remaining engaged with the technical aspects of the projects. You understand the importance of cost optimization and operational excellence, and you are committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement within your team. Desirable

What you'll do

In your role as Azure DataOps Lead, you will be responsible for leading the operational delivery of Azure-based data platforms. This includes managing the day-to-day operations and ensuring that all processes are streamlined for efficiency. You will drive proactive monitoring initiatives to identify potential issues before they impact service delivery, ensuring that your team adheres to SLAs and maintains high standards of service.

Collaboration will be key in this role, as you will work closely with Data Engineering and Cloud teams to ensure that all aspects of the data platform are functioning optimally. You will also engage with Business teams to understand their needs and ensure that the data solutions provided align with business objectives. Your leadership will guide your team in implementing best practices for DataOps, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

You will also be tasked with identifying opportunities for automation within the data operations processes, helping to reduce manual workloads and improve efficiency. Your insights will be invaluable in driving cost optimization strategies that benefit both the company and its clients. As a leader, you will mentor and develop your team, ensuring they have the skills and support needed to excel in their roles.
