Xometry is seeking an Associate Solutions Engineer to support the delivery of manufacturing solutions. You'll assist with technical documentation, quoting, and internal solution development. This role is ideal for candidates looking to start their career in a technical support capacity.
You are an entry-level professional eager to learn and grow in the field of solutions engineering. You possess foundational technical knowledge and are excited about supporting internal teams and external customers in the manufacturing industry. You have a collaborative mindset and are ready to work closely with Solutions Engineers and Sales teams to understand and deliver relevant manufacturing solutions. You are detail-oriented and capable of assisting with technical documentation, quoting, and data organization for complex customer programs.
In this role, you will provide technical support and documentation for various customer programs, including Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Request for Quotes (RFQs). You will assist in the internal development of cost-modeling and quoting tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the quoting process. Additionally, you will coordinate with suppliers and track quality documents throughout the solution lifecycle, ensuring smooth communication from award through delivery. You will engage in cross-functional learning and collaboration, gaining insights into different manufacturing processes and business units across North America.
