DoorDash is hiring a Data Analyst for their Sales Strategy & Operations team to drive marketing recommendations and customer insights. You'll work with SQL to analyze data and support strategic initiatives across the SMB cohort.
You have a strong analytical mindset and experience in data analysis, particularly in a sales or marketing context. You are proficient in SQL and have a knack for uncovering strategic insights from complex datasets. You excel at packaging your findings into compelling presentations that drive decision-making and influence stakeholders. You are comfortable working cross-functionally, collaborating with teams in sales, marketing, operations, product, and analytics to strengthen partnerships and drive growth. You are detail-oriented and can diagnose issues in performance metrics, providing actionable recommendations based on your analyses. You are excited about using data to empower small business partnerships and contribute to the overall success of DoorDash.
Experience with AI applications or tools that enhance data analysis would be a plus. Familiarity with marketing strategies and customer insights is also beneficial, as is a background in working with small to medium-sized businesses.
In this role, you will dive deep into both internal DoorDash and merchant data to uncover new business opportunities. You will conduct analyses that communicate data-driven insights succinctly, showcasing the results of past initiatives and diagnosing issues in merchant performance. You will be responsible for developing the SMB advertising customer narrative, which includes crafting value propositions, metrics, insights, and reporting. You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure that your recommendations are actionable and aligned with DoorDash's strategic goals. Your work will directly impact the growth of our SMB partnerships, helping to enhance their revenue and operational efficiency. You will also be involved in building internal tools and dashboards that empower our teams to make informed decisions based on data.
