You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the technology sector, and understand the nuances of equity management and private markets. Your ability to connect with executives and founders is key, as you will be introducing them to Carta's innovative software solutions. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are motivated by helping clients streamline their operations and achieve compliance. You are comfortable navigating complex sales processes and can articulate the value of software solutions to diverse audiences.

Desirable

Experience in venture capital, private equity, or private credit is a plus, as it will enhance your ability to engage with potential clients. Familiarity with software sales and a strong understanding of financial concepts will set you apart. You are a strategic thinker who can identify opportunities for growth and improvement within the sales process.

What you'll do

As a Mid Market Account Executive at Carta, you will be responsible for driving sales within the Venture Companies business unit. Your primary focus will be on selling equity management solutions, including Cap Table Management, to mid-market clients. You will engage with potential clients through various channels, including cold outreach, networking events, and industry conferences. Building strong relationships with clients will be essential, as you will guide them through the sales process and ensure they understand the benefits of Carta's platform.

You will collaborate closely with the marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and market needs. Regularly updating your knowledge of industry trends and competitor offerings will help you position Carta effectively in the market. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of your sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accessible.
