Carvana is hiring an Automotive Detailer / Lot Attendant for their 2nd shift operations in Akron, NY. You'll be responsible for detailing vehicles and assisting in various inspection tasks. This entry-level position offers competitive pay and benefits.
You are looking for an entry-level position in the automotive industry and are eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment. You have a valid driver’s license and are able to read, write, speak, and understand English. You are detail-oriented and take pride in your work, ensuring that vehicles are presented in the best possible condition for customers.
You are open to various roles within the automotive sector, including detailing vehicles, moving them between departments, taking photos for online listings, and inspecting for imperfections. You understand the importance of teamwork and are willing to collaborate with others to achieve common goals.
While no specific skills are required, any previous experience in automotive detailing or customer service would be a plus. A willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks is essential for success in this role.
As an Automotive Detailer, you will be responsible for detailing vehicles, which includes washing, interior cleaning, and exterior buffing to ensure they meet Carvana's high standards. You will also take on the role of Lot Attendant, moving vehicles from one department to another within the Inspection Center, ensuring a smooth workflow.
In addition to detailing and moving vehicles, you may work as a Photobooth Associate, where you will take high-quality photos of vehicles for online listings, helping customers get a clear view of the cars available for purchase. As an Inspection Associate, you will inspect the interior and exterior of vehicles, accurately identifying any imperfections or defects that need to be addressed.
You will receive training to develop your skills and ensure that you are equipped to handle the responsibilities of your role effectively. This position may require mandatory overtime based on business needs, so flexibility in your schedule is important.
Carvana provides a competitive wage for this entry-level position, with pay ranging from $18 to $19 per hour for the 2nd shift.
