PLACE is hiring a Loan Originator Assistant - Unlicensed to provide essential support in the loan application process. You'll assist with documentation, coordinate communications, and manage loan files. This entry-level position is ideal for those looking to start a career in the mortgage industry.
You are a motivated individual with a strong desire to support clients and realtors in the loan process. As a Loan Originator Assistant, you will be the front-line support for loan originators, helping to facilitate the completion of loan applications and ensuring that all necessary documentation is collected efficiently. You possess excellent communication skills and can manage multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude. You are eager to learn and may be interested in pursuing a licensed loan originator position in the future.
In this role, you will assist with the completion of loan applications and coordinate the collection of essential documentation, including credit reports. You will run DU/LP/AUS and prepare loan files for processing, ensuring that all information is accurate and complete. As the primary contact throughout the loan lifecycle, you will coordinate discussions between loan originators, referral partners, and clients, arranging meetings to follow up on actions that need to be completed. You will also promote the company's products to real estate agents, home buyers, and referral sources while tracking and managing follow-ups. Additionally, you will assist the Loan Processor in putting together scenarios for prospective clients by researching client scenarios with underwriting and investor guidelines. You will help manage a pipeline consisting of various loan types, including conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203K, and reverse mortgages.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $40,000 per year, along with benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan.
