Your communication skills are strong, allowing you to convey complex information clearly to various teams. You recognize when escalation is necessary and can navigate sensitive situations with care. Familiarity with Reddit is essential, as it helps you understand the community's nuances and expectations. Bonus points if you have experience with Jira and Zendesk, as these tools will be integral to your daily tasks.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work closely with the Policy & Strategic Response team to manage increased ticket volumes. Your primary responsibility will be to review Code of Conduct reports and determine which tickets are actionable versus unactionable. You will create Jira tickets for actionable reports and investigate them thoroughly. Outreach to violating subreddits will be part of your duties, ensuring that they understand the infractions and the necessary steps to comply. If a subreddit is non-compliant or if the situation is complex, you will escalate the tickets to the CoC team with proposed enforcement actions. Your work will enable the team to focus on higher priority tickets, making your role crucial in maintaining community standards.
