Overview

Google is seeking a Senior Field Sales Representative for Strategic Accounts to drive cloud sales initiatives. You'll leverage your expertise in B2B sales and account management to support enterprise organizations. This role requires 10 years of experience in cloud or software sales.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales or account management at a B2B software company. Your background includes experience in the Transportation and Logistics industry, as well as working with state or local government clients. You have a proven track record of selling cloud solutions, infrastructure software, databases, analytic tools, or applications software across multiple industries, aligning solutions to drive business outcomes.

You excel at supporting large enterprise organizations, growing existing customer bases, and acquiring new logos at scale to increase spend and accelerate consumption revenue. Your experience includes working with cross-functional teams and partners in implementations and negotiations, as well as commercial and legal negotiations with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams. You are skilled at cultivating C-level relationships and influencing executives, ensuring that customer needs are met effectively.

Desirable

Experience with cloud migrations and the ability to work closely with Customer Engineers and customers' technical leads to inventory software estates, define migration plans, and build migration business cases would be advantageous. You are comfortable navigating complex sales cycles and have a strategic mindset that allows you to identify partnership opportunities and explore vertical market opportunities.

What you'll do

In this role, you will drive business development initiatives and own operational excellence at scale. You will forecast accurately and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle. Your responsibilities will include supporting customer sales initiatives, exploring vertical market opportunities, and providing delivery services to achieve desired outcomes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementations and customer satisfaction.

You will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, leveraging your extensive network and industry knowledge to drive sales growth. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, including technical teams, to ensure that solutions are tailored to meet customer needs. You will also be expected to provide insights and feedback to improve product offerings based on customer interactions and market trends.
