Carvana is seeking an Automotive Cosmetic Inspector for their 2nd shift in Akron, NY. You'll be responsible for identifying cosmetic imperfections and assisting in vehicle preparation. This entry-level position offers competitive pay and training opportunities.
You are an entry-level professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for the automotive industry. You may have some experience in automotive prepping, but you are eager to learn and grow in your role as a Cosmetic Inspector. You understand the importance of quality and are committed to delivering exceptional results. You are a team player who is willing to work mandatory overtime based on business needs, ensuring that customer commitments are met. You possess a valid driver’s license and can communicate effectively in English.
While prior experience in automotive inspection is a plus, it is not a requirement. A willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and processes is essential. You may also have an interest in automotive aesthetics and repairs, which will help you excel in this role.
As an Automotive Cosmetic Inspector, your primary responsibility will be to identify cosmetic imperfections and repairs on vehicles before and after the reconditioning and paint processes. You will work closely with the reconditioning team to ensure that vehicles meet Carvana's high standards of quality. Your role may also involve additional tasks such as prepping, sanding, and masking vehicles to prepare them for inspection. You will utilize state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the inspection process. You will receive training to enhance your skills and ensure your pay progresses along with the company. Your attention to detail will play a crucial role in maintaining Carvana's reputation as a leading used automotive retailer.
