Enviva is seeking a Trainee to join their team in Cottondale, FL. This role offers hands-on training in plant operations, including rail load out and quality control. No specific skills are required, making it an ideal entry-level opportunity.
You are eager to learn and develop your skills in a hands-on environment. You are adaptable and ready to follow workplace and job safety procedures while gaining practical experience in plant operations. You have the ability to work multiple shifts and are committed to maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.
As a Trainee at Enviva, you will receive structured training to prepare you for a specific role within the plant operation. Your responsibilities will include ensuring rail cars are ready for loading and accurately entering weights into the computer system. You will sample and test raw and finished materials, recording results to maintain quality standards. Additionally, you will check and adjust machinery in the pellet mill and hammer mill operations, ensuring they run smoothly and are properly maintained. You will operate mobile equipment such as forklifts and Bobcats as needed, and communicate effectively with the operations team to escalate any issues. Keeping the work area clean and adhering to housekeeping standards will also be part of your duties.
