Coupang is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead the development of their next-generation Ad Infrastructure. You'll focus on building a Supply-Side Platform (SSP) and work with technologies like Java and Machine Learning. This role requires extensive experience in software engineering and cloud technologies.
You have over 5 years of experience in software engineering, particularly in building scalable systems and infrastructure. Your expertise in Java is complemented by a strong understanding of cloud technologies and machine learning applications. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy leading teams to solve complex engineering challenges. Your background includes experience with ad tech or similar domains, where you've contributed to the development of high-performance systems. You are comfortable with both backend and infrastructure development, and you have a keen interest in optimizing user experiences through technology. You are a problem-solver at heart, always looking for innovative solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
Experience with Supply-Side Platforms (SSP) or Demand-Side Platforms (DSP) would be a plus. Familiarity with video streaming technologies and content delivery networks (CDNs) is also desirable. A background in data analytics or machine learning frameworks will set you apart in this role.
