Business Intelligence Engineer, RBS BE - BQA

Who you are

You are a customer-obsessed Business Intelligence Engineer who thrives in a culture of data-driven decision making. You have experience leveraging Generative AI tools and Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate data analysis and generate insights. You are proficient in using at least one data visualization product such as Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI, and have a strong background in working with large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources. Your skills in Python enable you to build new utilities and maintain existing ones, ensuring efficient ad-hoc queries and analysis. You are comfortable collaborating with research scientists, business analysts, and product leads to scale data and improve operational metrics.

Desirable

Experience with foundation models like Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker JumpStart is a plus. You have a knack for developing prompt engineering strategies and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines to integrate Generative AI with existing data infrastructure. Your recommendations for new metrics and techniques have a direct impact on improving operational and quality metrics.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving and creating analytics solutions that enhance self-service capabilities and accelerate decision-making. You will experiment with Generative AI tools to solve business intelligence challenges and make recommendations for new metrics and strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency between various data sources, enabling faster detection and resolution of issues. Your role will involve building and deploying GenAI-powered analytics solutions, as well as developing prompt engineering strategies to integrate AI with existing data infrastructure. You will also be responsible for maintaining existing Python utilities and enabling more efficient ad-hoc queries and analysis.
