Overview

Google is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead multi-disciplinary projects in Data Center Network Delivery. Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 8 years of experience in program management. Your background includes 5 years in leadership roles, where you've successfully navigated both direct and indirect reporting structures. You possess a deep understanding of data center networking, which is crucial for this role. Your experience in data center operations is a plus, as it complements your technical expertise. You thrive in organizational settings characterized by shared accountability and geographic dispersion, and you are adept at managing ambiguity. You are comfortable communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams.

What you'll do

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion, utilizing your technical expertise to guide project planning and execution. You will work closely with stakeholders to define project requirements, identify potential risks, and manage project schedules effectively. Your role will involve nurturing relationships between cross-functional teams, ensuring that everyone is aligned and working towards common goals. You will drive process development and iterative improvement, focusing on delivering effective execution at scale within multi-project programs. Your leadership will be instrumental in setting and implementing both short-term and long-term infrastructure delivery strategies for the region.
