Engineering Director, Liquidity Platform, Risk & Analytics

Who you are

You have a solid background in engineering with a focus on risk and analytics, ideally with over 5 years of experience in leading teams. Your expertise includes modern real-time risk system design and architecture, and you have a good understanding of traditional finance risk systems. You are familiar with Monte Carlo pricing methodology and have experience working with time series databases, applying them effectively in risk systems. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improvements in risk monitoring systems.

What you'll do

As the Engineering Director at OKX, you will lead a team of engineers to design, implement, and support a real-time risk monitoring system for crypto trading. You will work closely with Market Risk, Trading Desks, and Quant Research teams to cover the full spectrum of crypto instruments, from delta-one to volatility products, in both orderbook and OTC formats. Your role will involve proposing new architectures and ideas to evolve the existing system, making it more time series driven and friendly for simulation and stress testing. You will be responsible for ensuring that the systems you oversee are robust, scalable, and capable of handling the complexities of the crypto market.
