Wheely is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to enhance their infrastructure and ensure high availability for their platform. You'll work with AWS/GCP, Golang, and Python to build robust monitoring and automation systems. This role requires proven experience in cloud solutions and infrastructure automation.
You have proven experience with cloud-based solutions like AWS or GCP, which has equipped you with the skills to manage and optimize cloud infrastructure effectively. Your coding abilities in Golang and Python allow you to automate processes and enhance system performance. You possess a strong understanding of Linux troubleshooting, including networking and file systems, which is essential for maintaining system reliability.
Your experience in infrastructure automation using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Bash enables you to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention. You are familiar with containerization and orchestration platforms like Docker and Kubernetes, which are crucial for deploying scalable applications. Additionally, your knowledge of message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Nats, or Kafka helps in managing communication between services efficiently.

Experience with security best practices and implementing centralized authorization systems would be a plus, as you will be responsible for ensuring the security level of our infrastructure. As a Site Reliability Engineer at Wheely, you will play a key role in minimizing incidents related to availability, performance, and security. You will implement best practices to ensure the proper security level of our infrastructure, finalizing the implementation of a centralized authorization system for developers and services. Your expertise will be vital in building comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems that proactively address incidents before they impact users.
You will assist teams with incident investigations related to infrastructure, ensuring that root causes are identified and resolved efficiently.
