Overview

Vercel is hiring a Startup Account Executive to drive revenue growth and support startups in leveraging their platform. You'll partner with cross-functional teams and become an expert in the startup ecosystem. This role requires strong technical knowledge and sales acumen.

Who you are

You have a strong background in sales, ideally with experience in a technical environment — you understand the nuances of selling to startups and can effectively communicate complex technical concepts. You thrive in a collaborative setting, working closely with Solutions Engineering and Customer Success teams to ensure the best outcomes for your clients. You are passionate about technology and eager to learn about the latest trends in the startup ecosystem, helping founders navigate their growth journey. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to coach and guide teams effectively. You are results-driven and motivated by the challenge of driving revenue growth in a fast-paced environment. You are adaptable and can pivot quickly based on customer needs and market changes.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals — you will be the primary point of contact for startups looking to leverage Vercel's platform. You will partner cross-functionally with Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure that your customers receive the best possible outcomes for their business. You will continuously learn about Vercel's technology and the broader startup ecosystem, becoming an expert in scaling best practices. You will advise and guide startup founders and their teams on how to effectively use Vercel's tools to achieve their business goals. You will evangelize Vercel's platform to both new and existing customers, helping to create a new category in the market. You will also be responsible for tracking your sales metrics and reporting on your progress to the leadership team.
