What you'll do

As a Staff Frontend Engineer at Verkada, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced UI components that power our AI-driven intrusion detection and video monitoring systems. You will collaborate closely with a small, dynamic team of engineers to create user experiences that are not only functional but also engaging and easy to use. Your role will involve taking ownership of the frontend development process, from initial design through to deployment and user feedback.

You will work on building scalable and maintainable code, ensuring that our applications perform well under various conditions. Your expertise in JavaScript and React will be crucial as you develop new features and improve existing ones. You will also participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to your peers and helping to maintain high coding standards within the team.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and helping them grow in their careers. You will be encouraged to contribute to the overall direction of the Alarms product category, bringing your ideas to the table and collaborating with product managers and designers to shape the future of our offerings.
