Handshake is seeking a Labor Relations Specialist to contribute to an AI research project. You'll leverage your professional experience to evaluate AI models and provide structured feedback. This role is remote and requires at least 4 years of relevant experience.
You have at least 4 years of professional experience in labor relations or a related field, which equips you with the context needed to evaluate and train AI models effectively. Your background may include negotiating collective bargaining agreements, investigating union complaints, and proposing resolutions for labor negotiations. You are comfortable working independently and can manage your time flexibly, averaging 5-20 hours per week. You are eager to learn new skills and contribute to the development of AI in your field, even if you do not have prior AI experience.
In this role, you will participate in an hourly, temporary AI research project where your primary responsibility will be to evaluate the outputs of AI models based on your professional expertise. You will develop prompts that reflect your field and assess the responses generated by the AI, providing clear and structured feedback to enhance the model's understanding of workplace tasks and language. Your contributions will help shape how AI is utilized in labor relations, making your insights invaluable to the project. You will work asynchronously, allowing you to balance this role with other commitments, and you will have the opportunity to engage in various projects as they become available.
