Who you are

You have over 3 years of experience in operations management, specifically in fulfillment operations, and a proven track record of achieving results. You thrive in a hands-on role where you can lead a diverse team and ensure that operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your leadership style promotes a culture of safety and well-being, and you are adept at managing multiple locations to meet business objectives. You understand the complexities of operations in a global business and are ready to tackle challenges head-on.

You are skilled in analyzing performance metrics and implementing corrective actions to maintain high standards of quality and productivity. Your experience includes managing teams and overseeing third-party vendors, ensuring that all operations align with company goals. You are a strong communicator who can collaborate effectively with colleagues across various teams to drive productivity and address challenges.

Desirable

Experience in managing dark stores or similar fulfillment operations is a plus. Familiarity with performance metrics and SLAs will help you excel in this role. You are comfortable with administrative tasks and are committed to building a strong team culture.

What you'll do

As an Area Manager at Amazon, you will lead multiple dark stores, ensuring that quality, productivity, and service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met across all shifts. You will analyze operational performance and implement corrective actions to drive improvements. Your role will involve managing UTR operations in collaboration with third-party vendors, ensuring that weekly, monthly, and quarterly plans are executed effectively.

You will support and lead a team of UTR supervisors, establishing standardized routines for managing operations in each dark store. Your hands-on approach will allow you to address challenges as they arise, making each day unique. You will work closely with your colleagues to promote a culture of safety and well-being, ensuring that your team is motivated and engaged.
