You have over 5 years of experience in quality engineering, particularly within the aviation industry, where you've developed a strong understanding of FAA quality standards and regulations. Your leadership abilities shine as you coordinate quality management activities across various operations, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You are detail-oriented and have a proven track record of success in maintaining quality control procedures for aviation operations, including maintenance, repair, and manufacturing.

Your expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive quality management systems is complemented by your ability to conduct regular audits and inspections. You thrive in environments where you can assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement. You are passionate about aviation safety and are committed to enhancing the reliability of operations through effective quality management practices.

Desirable

Experience with quality management systems in a Part 145 Repair station or installation center would be a significant advantage. Familiarity with supplier management and OEM operations is also desirable, as is a proactive approach to driving quality initiatives that align with industry best practices.

What you'll do

As a Senior Quality Engineer at Skyryse, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of aircraft control systems and aviation safety. You will develop and implement quality management systems that align with FAA regulations, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational safety. Your role will involve conducting inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with established quality standards, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Collaboration will be key in this role, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality management practices are integrated into all aspects of operations. You will also be responsible for training and mentoring junior quality engineers, fostering a culture of quality and safety within the organization.
