Coupang is seeking a Senior Staff Product Designer to lead the design of innovative customer experiences. You'll work with Figma to create impactful solutions that enhance the shopping journey. This role requires extensive experience in product design and a strong focus on customer needs.
You have over 5 years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create user-centered designs that drive engagement and satisfaction. Your expertise in Figma allows you to translate complex ideas into intuitive interfaces, and you have a deep understanding of design principles and user experience methodologies. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify customer pain points and develop innovative solutions. You are data-driven, using metrics to inform your design decisions and continuously improve the user experience. You are passionate about pushing the boundaries of design and technology, always seeking new ways to enhance the customer journey. You are a strong communicator, able to articulate your design rationale to stakeholders and advocate for the user’s perspective throughout the design process.
In this role, you will lead the design efforts for Coupang's customer experience team, focusing on transforming the end-to-end shopping journey. You will identify customer pain points and build solutions that improve the funnel from sign-up to checkout. Your responsibilities will include conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and collaborating with engineers and product managers to ensure successful implementation of your designs.
