Overview

SpaceX is seeking a Lead Hardware Reliability Engineer for the Starlink Aviation team to ensure the reliability and quality of the Starlink Aviation product. You'll manage a team focused on hardware reliability through design, manufacturing, and testing processes.

Who you are

You have a strong background in hardware engineering, with experience in reliability engineering and quality assurance. You possess excellent leadership skills, having successfully managed teams of engineers and specialists in previous roles. Your technical expertise allows you to dive deep into complex problems, providing innovative solutions that enhance product reliability. You are detail-oriented and have a hands-on approach, enjoying the challenge of working on the shop floor and in labs to ensure high standards are met. You understand the importance of collaboration and communication, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. You are passionate about aerospace technology and are excited about the opportunity to contribute to SpaceX's mission of enabling human life on Mars.

Desirable

Experience with satellite technology or aviation systems would be a significant advantage. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and testing methodologies is also desirable. A background in project management or process improvement would enhance your ability to lead effectively.

What you'll do

As the Lead Hardware Reliability Engineer, you will oversee a team dedicated to ensuring the reliability of the Starlink Aviation product. You will be responsible for guiding the design and development processes, ensuring that all hardware meets stringent reliability standards.
