Job Description

Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

The Talent Mobility Partner position is part of the Talent Mobility Team, which sits within the Compensation and Employee Programs team as part of our broader Talent organization.  The role reports to the regional Talent Mobility Manager. In a culture that supports creativity and innovation as a key competency, this position will have the responsibility of supporting and managing immigration and relocation for our employees and their families. Our programs are flexible, tailored, and designed with both the employee and the business in mind. We pride ourselves on assisting all employees with settling into their new location, with minimum impact to the employee, their family, and the business.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will act as a consultant for employees and their families, and work closely with various internal and external partners to oversee and ensure each employee's needs are effectively managed throughout a transfer or assignment life cycle.

  • You will provide a high level of customer service and resolution on all mobility-related issues, liaising with the appropriate parties.

  • You will partner with Talent Acquisition and HRBPs to assess relocation needs, working closely with third-party vendors to provide the right level of support to our employees and their families.

  • You will serve as the second line of Talent Mobility communication with our employees, in partnership with the shared services team as the first line. You will identify opportunities to refine information available to the shared services team to improve responses and the availability of self service information.

  • You will generate assignment letters and relocation documentation, as required, and ensure internal systems are up to date.

  • You will work on global and regional projects, as required, to enable the continued evolution and scalability of the mobility program.

  • You will identify opportunities for process improvements through stakeholder interactions and work with the team to propose solutions to bring efficiencies to mobility workflows.

  • You will drive compliance requirements in partnership with internal stakeholders (i.e. employee services, payroll, tax, finance in relation to relocations).

  • You will apply Inclusion and Diversity principles throughout your work.

To be successful:

  • You've done this before. You will bring 5 years or more of mobility and/or immigration experience in a global organization, with tax exposure a plus.

  • You understand technology, trends and best practices currently affecting the mobility landscape.

  • You care about our employees and their families. You can thoughtfully and empathetically support employees/families through their relocation journey. You understand the personal nature of one’s relocation journey and are sensitive to their privacy.

  • You possess strong customer service skills and deliver high quality customer-oriented services. You’re an active listener, can connect the dots, are pro-active, and are quick to resolve open issues.

  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills; you are flexible and able to communicate the unique nuances of each relocation.

  • You know the right questions to ask to solve the situation at hand using the resources available to you. You engage the right partners to gain support and guidance as needed.

  • You have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with quick changing business needs and can effectively communicate with business partners. You are comfortable working in a culture that values candor, transparency, and courage.

  • You are a motivated self-starter, able to work independently while leveraging the wider team as thought partners. You also have a passion for working across markets with a culturally diverse talent set.

Inclusion is a Netflix value and we strive to host a meaningful interview experience for all candidates. If you want an accommodation/adjustment for a disability or any other reason during the hiring process, please send a request to your recruiting partner.

We are an equal-opportunity employer and celebrate diversity, recognizing that diversity builds stronger teams. We approach diversity and inclusion seriously and thoughtfully. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, ancestry, national origin, caste, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or expression, age, disability, medical condition, pregnancy, genetic makeup, marital status, or military service.
