Google is seeking a Full Stack Engineer III to work on the Dataplex Catalog project. You'll develop full stack solutions using Java, Python, and JavaScript, among other technologies. This role requires 2 years of experience in full stack development.
You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 2 years of experience in full stack development. Your expertise spans back-end technologies such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++, and you are proficient in front-end technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. You possess a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms, and you have experience developing accessible technologies. Your background may include a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields, which is preferred but not required. You are a versatile engineer who is enthusiastic about tackling new challenges across the full stack and are eager to contribute to critical business problems.
As a Full Stack Engineer III at Google, you will design, implement, and launch new products, features, and components with a focus on high product excellence and technical quality. You will monitor and debug systems to support frequent releases, ensuring that the software you develop meets the needs of billions of users. You will collaborate with partner teams to assess incoming tasks and manage escalations, while also managing individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Your role will involve working on specific projects critical to Google’s needs, with opportunities to switch teams and projects as the business evolves. You will be expected to communicate effectively with other team members and contribute fresh ideas from various areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, and large-scale system design.
