Risk Specialist - Mandarin Speaker, In-Person Investigation - Support

Who you are

You are an individual with experience in fraud investigations and identity verification, particularly in authenticating fraudulent documents and invoices. You possess strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to interact effortlessly with both internal and external clients. Your ability to think beyond standard operating procedures (SOP) allows you to recommend appropriate outcomes based on your investigations. You are a quick learner who actively seeks to share best practices and demonstrate self-management in prioritizing tasks and objectives. You are proficient in Mandarin and English, capable of writing grammatically correct and concise responses. Experience in conducting face-to-face identity verifications is a plus, as is a background in legal, customer service, investigations, or risk management.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be part of Amazon's face-to-face identity verification team, dedicated to ensuring that bad actors cannot exploit our services to harm customers, sales partners, or our stores. You will have numerous opportunities to advance into risk management positions based on your performance, particularly your ability to conduct accurate and thorough investigations and produce detailed reports. You will interview sellers via video calls, aligning your working hours with business hours in China. Your responsibilities will include analyzing seller issues using team knowledge from various specialties to provide effective solutions. You will also be expected to manage data tracking and make accurate decisions based on your findings. As you grow within the team, you will have the chance to mentor and guide other investigators, fostering a culture of accuracy and thoroughness in investigations.
