Overview

OpenAI is seeking a Head of Professional Services to lead the global Professional Services organization. You'll ensure the effective deployment of Generative AI applications and drive enterprise-level transformation for customers. This role requires strategic leadership and technical depth.

Who you are

You are a seasoned executive with extensive experience in leading professional services teams, particularly in the technology sector. Your background includes a strong understanding of AI applications and their deployment in enterprise environments. You have a proven track record of building and scaling teams, ensuring delivery excellence, and defining engagement standards that drive customer success. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to act as a trusted advisor and thought partner for clients, guiding them through the complexities of AI integration into their business processes.

You have a strategic mindset, combining technical depth with commercial acumen. Your ability to collaborate across various teams, including Product, Research, Engineering, and Go-To-Market, enables you to design and deliver impactful solutions that meet customer needs. You are passionate about transforming businesses through technology and have a keen interest in the latest advancements in AI.

Desirable

Experience in enterprise transformation and a deep understanding of Generative AI applications will set you apart. Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in professional services will enhance your ability to lead effectively. You are comfortable navigating complex customer environments and can adapt your approach to meet diverse needs.

What you'll do

In this role, you will architect and lead OpenAI's global Professional Services approach, overseeing everything from early customer engagement to enterprise-grade deployment and long-term adoption of AI solutions. You will be responsible for building a world-class team of technical experts, ensuring they are equipped to deliver high-impact solutions that drive real business transformation for clients. Your leadership will be crucial in defining the standards and practices that guide your team's engagement with customers, ensuring that every interaction is aligned with OpenAI's mission to provide secure and responsible AI solutions.

You will work closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and opportunities, helping them to build an effective backlog of Generative AI use cases tailored to their industry.
