Overview

DoorDash is seeking a Fraud Operations Manager to lead a team of Fraud Specialists and drive down the cost of fraud. This role requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven strategies.

You have a proven track record in operations management, particularly in fraud prevention or risk management. Your leadership experience includes managing teams effectively, fostering collaboration, and driving employee development. You are data-driven and strategic, with a keen ability to analyze fraud trends and implement solutions. You thrive in a hands-on role, willing to engage at all levels of detail to ensure your team's success. You understand the importance of in-person collaboration and are committed to being present in the Tempe office to support your team and cross-functional partners.

Desirable

Experience in the tech or e-commerce industry is a plus, as is familiarity with fraud detection tools and methodologies. You are comfortable working with data analytics to inform decision-making and have a knack for problem-solving in high-pressure situations. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to influence and engage stakeholders across the organization effectively.

What you'll do

As the Fraud Operations Manager, you will lead a team of Fraud Specialists, Team Leads, and Supervisors, creating a vision for the team and defining objectives and key results (OKRs) that align with company goals. You will be responsible for investigating fraud cases, protecting users, and brainstorming long-term solutions to reduce fraud. Your role will involve facilitating in-person meetings, connecting with cross-functional partners, and nurturing a collaborative team environment. You will report to the Senior Manager of Fraud Strategy & Operations, contributing to the overall strategy and execution of fraud prevention initiatives.

You will also be tasked with analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement, ensuring that your team is equipped with the tools and knowledge necessary to combat fraud effectively. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the team. You will engage in regular performance reviews and provide mentorship to your direct reports, helping them grow in their roles and advance their careers.
